Manage Table Columns

The following Transactions module tabs contain tables of information and workflows to resolve each detected invoice issue:

You can customise the following aspects of each table:

Organise Table Columns

The following three methods enable you to organise table columns:

Drag-and-Drop Columns

The quickest method to organise columns is to drag-and-drop them directly within the table:

  1. Click and hold the column header you want to move, then drag it to the new location.

    MAN101

Note: When you drag the cursor, it changes to a four-way arrow.

  2. Drop the column header in the desired location. The table immediately updates as you make changes.

Note: Unlike Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, the table does not auto-scroll when you drag an item outside the displayed table columns. You'll need to scroll first, before dragging. For example, to place a column header to the far right (which appears offscreen):

    1. Drag-and-drop the column to the end of the screen.

    2. Horizontally scroll the table to the right, as needed.

    3. Repeat Steps A and B until you reach the desired location.

Rearrange Columns Using the Choose Columns Pop-Up

To rearrange columns using the Choose Columns pop-up:

  1. Right-click any of the column headings and select Choose Columns.

    MAN102
  2. Identify the column you want to move, and drag-and-drop the dot grid beside the column to a new location. The table immediately updates as you make changes.

    MAN108

Note: The higher you place a column header in the list, the further left it appears in the table.

  4. Click Apply in the top-right corner to update the table.

    MAN109

Pin Columns

You can keep important columns persistently visible as you explore and scroll through the table.

Pinned columns stick to the far left and/or far right of the table (divided by a dark grey line, as shown by the arrows). They remain in place as you scroll horizontally.

MAN110

To pin columns to the left or right side of the table:

  1. Locate the column you want to pin and right-click its header.

  2. Hover over Pin Column and select one of the following options:

    • No Pin (default): Unpins the column

    • Pin Left: Pins the column to the left

    • Pin Right: Pins the column to the right

    MAN111

Autosize Columns

You may want to resize a column's width to fully display its contents. Rather than manually resizing columns, use auto-resize.

You can use autosize to resize a single column or all columns at once:

  1. Locate the column(s) you want to autosize.

  2. Right-click the column header, and select one of the following options:

    • Autosize This Column: Automatically resizes the currently-selected column

    • Autosize All Columns: Automatically resizes all columns in the table

      MAN112

The resized column(s) now display their full values.

      MAN113
